What is involved with the Cathay Pacific Interview Process and how can I best prepare?

Cathay Pacific Cadet program is open to anyone from any nationality. Cathay Pacific will pay for all of the expenses and in return require a bond of 6 years return of service. The minimum requirements have changed continually over the past 6 months so it is best to check the current information on the Cathay Pacific website.
The process involves completing the application form through their website under employment/career opportunities. Once the application form is completed they will contact you in due course and invite you to an interview in Hong Kong. Recently it has been 2-4 weeks notice, so we suggest you start your interview preparation early and be prepared!
The Cathay Pacific interview process is quite detailed and certainly one of the hardest of any airline interview currently being conducted, so it is imperative that you seek all the help you can in order to be successful.
The Interview process is conducted over two days. You must be successful on day 1 to progress through to day 2.

The panel interview will last for approximately 45 minutes and with no second chance to impress we highly recommend our one on one interview coaching.

The Cathay Pacific interview process is quite detailed and certainly the hardest of any airline interview on the market, so it is imperative that you get help in order to be successful.
The Airline Pilot Interview Coaching is conducted over two 90 minute sessions and is available via Skype, telephone or in person in our Sydney office. For best results we recommend that the first session be conducted for the first stage and the second session we reserve for the second stage. The Coaching does not expire.
On completion of your coaching session’s you will receive a detailed debrief with guidance on the areas that need improvement.
